Blueberries can reduce the risk of heart attacks and stroke. They’re also one of the richest sources of flavonoids, especially the health-promoting phytochemical, anthocyanidins. These antioxidant compounds make the blue, purple and red pigments of the fruit. Blueberries are a good source of vitamin C, which is important for strengthening the immune system.

What you need:
150g blueberries
300ml almond milk
½ a banana

What you do:
Place all ingredients in a high speed blender and blitz.
