With Wimbledon in full flow this is the perfect time to try a delicious refreshing non -alcoholic drink.
Both strawberries and lemons are rich sources of vitamin C and therefore high in antioxidants. This juice is refreshing and utterly delicious.
What you need:
a punnet of strawberries
Juice of 1 lemon
2 tsp maple syrup (optional)
500ml naturally sparkling mineral water
Strawberries and lemon, to decorate
What you do:
Using a hand-held blender or a liquidiser, blend the strawberries and lemon juice until smooth. Stir in the maple syrup. Mix in the mineral water and check the sweetness – add a little more maple syrup if preferred. Place in a glass jug and served chilled with ice and strawberries and a slice of lemon.
You can replace the strawberries with raspberries
